We’re hiring a Senior Strategist for an independent branding and design agency based in Central London.
We’re looking for a strategic thinker who wants more than just delivery—someone excited by the opportunity to help define and shape a branding and design agency’s strategic offer from the ground up.
This is a pivotal role. You’ll lead brand strategy across positioning, messaging, naming, and portfolio work—you’ll also help build the frameworks, and ways of working that define how strategy operates across the agency.
This role will work super closely with agency leadership to evolve how they strengthen client relationships and develop commercial opportunities.
What you’ll be doing
Defining and developing strategic offering, tools, and methodologies
Leading brand strategy across positioning, messaging, naming, and activation
Translating insight into clear, compelling creative direction
Running workshops and leading strategic conversations with clients
Partnering with creative teams to elevate output and thinking
Contributing to new business and pitch-winning work
Supporting the growth and development of a future strategy team
What we’re looking for
Strong experience in brand strategy within a creative or design-led agency
Ability to move between big-picture thinking and hands-on delivery
Confidence leading client conversations and shaping strategic direction
A natural collaborator with creatives and designers
Commercial awareness and interest in agency growth
Experience building or improving strategic frameworks is a strong plus
